PUEBLO COMMUNITY COLLEGE

pueblo Community College promotes over 70 degree or certificate programs in disciplines from accounting to emergency services, nursing to welding. PCC, as known by the locals, is a recognized state leader in healthcare education with virtually complete job placement in the advancing medical occupations. The campus is wireless and full of modern technology, including progressive hospital-based cadaver labs, ensure hands on training.

Accredited by the Higher Learning Commission and designated as a Hispanic Serving Institute (HSI), Pueblo Community College has recently gained approval to expand their Associate’s and Certificate educational degree programs to offer specialized Bachelor’s Degrees. The first Bachelor’s curriculum recently launched and more programs are on the horizon.

The community college is also home to Pueblo Corporate College promoting extensive workforce training for long term employer partnerships. Providing critical skill education for worldwide employers like Evraz Rocky Mountain Steel, Vestas Towers, UTC Aerospace, Ska Brewing Co., and LafargeHolcim, PCC is instrumental in the economic development of the region.

INTELLITEC COLLEGE

Accredited by the Commission of Career Schools and Colleges, Intellitec works to create highly employable students in automotive, beauty, and entry level medical positions supporting area residents to achieve a higher earning potential in the community.

COLORADO STATE UNIV – PUEBLO

Colorado State University-Pueblo is a fully accredited, regional comprehensive state university. Among the varied social, educational, and cultural opportunities, the University has recently celebrated its growth with a newly renovated library, a new $16 million general academic classroom building, an enhanced soccer/lacrosse stadium, and $30 million major renovation/expansion to the Occhiato University Student Center.

Attracting a variety of students, the university has programs that meet the needs of standard college enrollment but has smartly diversified to also include curriculum that fits the needs or working adults and military personnel. Students will thrive in the academic excellence provided at the University level and will also appreciate the diverse cultural opportunities like the popular Distinguished Speakers Series and concerts by Grammy Award winners like Ludacris, Gloriana, All American Rejects, Andy Grammer and Kanye West in addition to movies, and comedy performances like Second City.

The University touts 22 NCAA Division II sports in the Rocky Mountain Athletic Conference including the NCAA 2014 Division II National Champion Football team, which catapulted from startup to national champion in just seven years, and a club racquetball team that has won 17 National Championships and placed 2nd in 2016.
