As we navigate through life, it becomes increasingly important to support one another, especially in our communities. The Senior Resource Development Agency (SRDA) is making a significant impact in Pueblo by enhancing the quality of life for our senior citizens and supporting their independence. With a commitment to providing essential programs and services, SRDA is a beacon of hope for many.
**A Mission of Care and Support**
At the heart of SRDA’s mission is a focus on enriching the lives of senior citizens and others who may be frail or handicapped. Their inclusive approach, symbolized by the agency’s umbrella logo, ensures that everyone in the Pueblo area has the opportunity to live a healthy and self-reliant life.
One of the standout initiatives within SRDA is their Nutrition Program, designed specifically to address the nutritional needs of older adults. This program is comprised of two main components:
1. **Congregate or Community Meals**
2. **Home-Delivered Meals (Meals on Wheels)**
The Nutrition Program not only provides hot, nutritious homemade meals to older adults in Pueblo County but also fosters social interaction, welfare checks, and companionship for those who experience loneliness and isolation. It is a vital lifeline that brings nourishment and a sense of community to many.
**A Special Event to Remember**
In addition to their core services, SRDA has expanded to include fundraising and catering efforts. This Valentine’s Day, they will host a delightful dinner event that promises to be an unforgettable evening. On February 14th, 2025, join them for a special meal featuring a Surf & Turf entrée, along with four additional gourmet courses prepared by their talented culinary team.
**Date:** Friday, February 14th, 2025
**Cost:** $60.00 per person

This event not only offers a chance to enjoy a wonderful meal but also to support an organization that does so much for our community.
**Join Us in Making a Difference**
